International Exchanges
　
One of JAIST's main aims is to contribute to the advancement of world science in this era of rapid internationalization. In order to meet the increasing demands for international exchanges and cooperation in study and research in the fields of advanced science and technology, JAIST accepts students from abroad, collaborates with visiting researchers, and holds international symposia.
　
Agreements on Academic Exchanges
　 JAIST has concluded agreements on academic exchanges with 86 institutions in 25 foreign countries in order to develop exchanges of personnel and research cooperation.
　 　
Housing
　
JAIST International House
　 Visiting researchers from overseas can stay in the JAIST International House.
Student Housing
　 Eight five-storied buildings are located on campus as student housing. International students are given priority to live in student housing, and most of them are living in this housing.
