Career Service Center
The Career Service Center supports the career development of individual students who are going to work in a variety of areas based on advanced science and technology, including academia and industries, and promotes their vocational indepence by providing guidance and training programs.
Supporting career development and encouraging studendts to challenge newly rising and interdisciplinary innovative fields beyond their expertise as creative technologists.
The education at JAIST is systematically designed and organized to realize the career goal of individual students; the Career Service Center is promoting it consistently. The Career Service Center promotes vocational indepenedence with a consultation service by career advisors, councelors and the center professors out of three Schools at JAIST, and with a financial aid for off-campus training activities. All of these support activities aim at developing leading researchers and engineers from JAIST to meet the diverse needs of the society. The Career Service Center is operated efficiently through close collaboration between academic and administrative divisions at JAIST.
The Center will continuously support and promote the students to obtain attributes of creative communication ability in interdisciplinary fields, scientific logical thinking in multi-viewpoints, and willpower to overcome any difficulties and to accomplish their targets, which can take advantage of fundamental and practical knowledge in their expertise.
These attributes make them flexibly geared to rapidly-evolving science and technology in the present and future world. We hope that JAIST graduates will vigorously play active roles in the global society as creative technologists with doctoral or master's degree through systematic advanced schooling and training at JAIST with leading-edge research activities.
